F&M Bank’s Safety-Net program provides security against life's unexpected financial situations. One never knows when life's surprises might cause you to unavoidably overdraw your account. Safety-Net can assist you in avoiding embarrassing and expensive overdraft situations. The program is easy to implement and can be added to any personal checking account.
Safety-Net will cover any insufficient balance in your transaction account up to the available amount of your predetermined credit limit, in $100 increments. A minimum payment of $20 or 5%, whichever is greater, will then be deducted automatically from your checking account each month. Or you may wish to pay the entire Safety-Net balance in full. With Safety-Net, it is no longer necessary to worry about the occasional possibility of having a check returned due to insufficient funds.
To apply for Safety-Net simply follow one of the three steps below:
- Complete and return an application to any one of our eight convenient locations
